The Hebrew word for Lion is Ari (Strong’s word # H738, pronounced ar-ee’). It is rooted in the Hebrew word, arah (# H717), which means to gather. The Acronym for the Alliance of Redeemed Israel is A.R.I. And, ARI is hosting a Gathering for the Redeemed of Israel. Psalm 107:1-3 says, “Oh give thanks to YHVH, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Let the redeemed of YHVH say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary and gathered from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.”
Scripture tells us to “Ascribe to the LORD, O sons of the mighty, Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to His name; worship the LORD in holy array.” And, “bring an offering and come before him” (Psalm 29:1-2; also see vs. 96:8-9; 1 Chronicles 16:29).
We are the sons who are called to ascribe to the LORD the glory due to His name and bring an offering before him. We suggest that when we see His glory, when we see Him in action in our own personal lives, when we see Him as One who is high and lifted up, with a train that fills the Temple, we see His greatness and desire to worship Him (Isaiah 6:1-3).
Encounters with the Holy One can happen in different ways. We can be stirred with a song, a dance, a marriage, the birth and/or death of loved ones, when we study His Word… The list goes on forever.
Anything that happens in our lives that causes us to see the greatness of our God, can lead to worship of Him. And, when our hearts are filled with such experiences and we come together with others to worship Him in song, we have those times, those beautiful personal experiences hidden in our hearts, and we can offer a sacrifice of praise to Him for His greatness. Our hearts have been previously prepared with times of “personal worship,” and thus, we are better equipped to enter into a time of “corporate worship.”
Our hope for our Gathering this year is that our eyes might be opened through solid teachings by anointed speakers, and through times of corporate worship led by inspired worship leaders. Even as we want to be a people who embrace and is empowered by the Holy Spirit, the ruach haKodesh, so we want to be better equipped to lead lives that are filled with worship of our great God.
We hope you will join us for this special time. If you cannot be there, please join us in prayer that our upcoming ARI Gathering will be pleasing in the eyes of our Heavenly Father. We want to “Gather” together and press forward toward a common goal: A Hebraic and Scriptural understanding of the gifts, workings, and ways of the Holy Spirit, plus a much better understanding of what it means to “worship” our God.
